At Flagstaff Hill R-7 School, all teaching staff, school service officers and parents work in partnership to organise resources and to develop programmes of excellence for all children. Our dedicated staff provide a well managed, stimulating, challenging and supportive environment in which children learn and grow. We believe that we have created a very special learning environment in which we cater for the diverse needs of our community.
We aim to provide a broad balanced curriculum within the framework of SACSA. We want our students to develop a passion for learning and to help develop skills that will allow them to pursue this passion. We encourage children to question, to hypothesise, to experiment, to discuss and to problem solve and to use all the resources in the school to further their learning. We expect children to be actively involved in their learning. We encourage children to develop confidence, independence and self-reliance. |
